1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Note Taker app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Note Taker is a mobile application for recording personal voice notes on Android. Verified BabyCode users get access to an additional workspace mode that lets them browse a folder they pick using the Android system folder picker.
3. User Responsibilities
- You may only record audio that you have the right to record. Do not use the App to record other people without their knowledge or consent in jurisdictions where that is required.
- You must not use the App for any illegal, harmful, harassing or unauthorized purpose.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are solely responsible for the content of the voice notes you create.
4. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
5. Permissions
The App requests the microphone permission to record voice notes when you press and hold the mic button. Optionally, it may request the Contacts permission to display contact names. The App does not access your call log, SMS, location, or background audio.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and software in the App are the property of BabyCode and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App without prior written consent. You retain ownership of the voice notes you create.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that every recording will be captured successfully (for example if storage is full or the microphone is unavailable).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BabyCode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of recordings.
9. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion at any time by emailing support@babycode.in. On deletion, your account information is removed from our authentication systems. Voice notes stored locally on your device are not affected — you can manage them yourself.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
